Première partie, la carte Rare :
Elle possède un nom de carte à effet brillant spécial noir ou blanc (similaire à la couleur des noms de cartes de ligue). Ces cartes rares sont vos atouts pour renverser le jeu, ces cartes peuvent retourner un Duel au moment où elles arrivent en jeu. Vos plus puissants Pièges, Magies et Monstres (y compris Monstres Xyz) feront partie de ces cartes.

Cinquième partie, la carte Starfoil :
Les Cartes Starfoil ont un motif brillant et étincelant sur le dessus de la carte, un nouveau type de brillance que vous n’avez jamais vu avant, c’est renversant ! Et en ce moment ces cartes ne sont disponibles que dans les boosters Battle Pack !

La 5e carte de chaque pack (la carte surprise) est toujours une Carte Starfoil. Et chacune des 220 cartes du set peut avoir cette rareté.
