You need also set up a new email service, set up email forwarding to copy your new Windstream emails to your current service, and inform your contacts about your new Windstream email address. Before cancelling your Windstream membership, it's a good idea to complete this task ahead of time. Although your email access to Windstream cannot be cancelled after sending your discontinued notice, shortly afterwards, you will lose access to your Windstream login.
